When Design Intersects With Philanthropy:
PALM BEACH KIPS BAY DECORATOR SHOW HOUSE
The 2nd annual Palm Beach Kips Bay Decorator Show House commanded the attention of more than just Palm Beach County residents. Interior design experts and enthusiasts travelled from all corners of the country to view a 10,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style house that was transformed in just four months by 22 of the country’s top interior designers. Capturing national headlines, the show house is a philanthropic event benefitting both the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County.
Krista + Home was one of 22 designers chosen for this prestigious event. Charged with designing a new master bath and dressing lounge, Krista awarded the manufacturing of the dressing lounge to Closets By Montecristo. The master bathroom and dressing lounge are adjoining, making the space large, open, and
yet very intimate. Krista ingeniously added a bar to the dressing lounge, making the glass of champagne convenient whilst getting ready for the night out.
Krista beautifully designed the closet with every compartment completely concealed, giving a streamlined and elegant look, with no clutter in sight. StyleLite material in graphite matte velvet was selected for its luster finish where no fingerprints are left behind. StyleLite is an acrylic panel that is also offered in an ultra-high-gloss and 40 colors. The acrylic finish is moisture resistant making it a perfect choice for bathrooms and kitchens. Taking the industry by storm, the material can be heat formed to bend around curves and corners, offering never before seamless edges on crown molding and columns. Closets By Montecristo is one of the few companies in the country with special heating mechanism to offer clients this extraordinary feature!
It was an honor to manufacture such a beautiful room, but even more rewarding to give to a cause that makes such an impact on the youth in our community.
Thank you Krista + Home, it was a pleasure working with you!
